Day 01
 
     Arrival and transfer to sigiriya.

Day 02
 
    

Transfer to habarana and do an elephant back ride by the lake.

then transfer to anuradhapura the 1st ancient capital of sri lanka(3rd cencury bc) which is a world heritage site.


Places to visit

  • Sacred bo tree(2200 years old)
  • Royal palace
  • Brazen palace(2nd cencury bc)
  • Alms hall
  • Twin ponds
  • Samadhi statue
  • Dagobas etc.

then transfer to mihintale(3rd cencury bc) and also to aukana(5th century ad).

On completion tranfer to sigiriya.

Over night stay at the hotel.
 
 
Day 03
 
    

transfer to polonnaruwa the 2nd ancient capital of sri lanka(11th cencury ad) which is a world heritage site.

Places to visit

  • Royal palace
  • Statue of king parakramabahu
  • Audience hall
  • Watadageya
  • Temple of the tooth relic
  • Shiva temple
  • Lankathilake
  • Gal viharaya
  • Lotus pond etc.

Then transfer to minneriya national park and do a safari by the jeep.

On completion tranfer to sigiriya.

Over night stay at the hotel.
 
 
Day 04
 
    

Transfer to the rock fortress sigiriya(5th century ad) which is a world heritage site.

Then tranfer to habarana and do a village tour

And then enjoy an aurvadic treatment(herbal spa)

On completion transfer to sigiriya.

Over night stay at the hohel.
 
 
Day 05
 
    

Tranfer to dambulla the rock cave temple(1st century bc) which is a world heritage site.

Then tranfer to kandy en route visiting a herbal spice garden.

Visit the temple of the tooth relic and enjoy the cultural show.

Over night stay at the hotel in kandy.
 
 
Day 06
 
    

Transfer to the tea plantations and visit a tea factory.

Then tranfer to nuwara eliya the hill station en route visiting the water falls.

Over night stay at the hotel in nuwara eliya
 
 
Day 07
 
    

Transfer to yala via ella gap do a safari in the yala national park where you can find a leopard by the jeep

Over night stay at the hotel in yala.
 
 
Day 08
 
    

Transfer to galle and visit the gall fort which is a world heritage site.

Over night stay at the hotel in galle.
 
 
Day 09
 
    

Stay at the beach for more days or transfer to the air port for the departure.(clients own arrangement)
